It feels like the warm weather has barely gotten started, yet summer vacation is already half over! It’s almost time to stock up on school supplies, shop for new dorm room necessities and add to your closet with back to school fashions. We will be putting up a new blog post every Wednesday morning at TheShoeDiaries.com for the next few weeks. The blog post will contain a question about back to school fashion or fall fun. Simply leave a comment on that blog post answering that week’s question for an entry in the contest. You can only earn one (1) entry per blog post, but we will be putting up four different posts so check back for more entries! Be sure to include a valid email address when prompted as you submit your comment. This will not be published, but will be used to contact you if you win!

Going back to school one would require some new hot sexy but comfy heels, or some sexy boots.
Getting new shoes was always my favorite part of going back to school shopping.
Platforms are making the way back to the scene. They are functionable with every look. They can be dressy,casual or fun. They allow a person to walk with confidence something that is lacking in today’s youth. They are more than an accent to an outfit. They complete the statement the is being portrayed by the wearer.
I think that shoes with a wedge and heel and those in shade of dark purple and grey will be a rage.
Hoping for comfort ..but stylish boots.
I think the shooties will still be in fashion, there are many cute ones!
I honestly think the knee high boot will stay in play – soft leathers and minimal details are what hope would be in style.
I think stylish sneakers in many colors will be a hit.

Flats will definetly be in style . They’re comfortable , trendy , and all around best shoes . At an affordable price and style .
I think embellishment will be big this year in both shoes and boots.
my daughter is 6 and going into 1st grade and she and all her little friends are saying that the Twinkle Toes are what is in and that is what they all want for school

I think this Fall we’ll see a lot more open-toe booties with high platforms. Also I think we’ll see pointy toed heels.

Shoes with lots of glitter and fun colors are sure to sparkle up your back to school fashion this fall season.
I would love some croc comfy boots with wild colors. I don’t really like platforms tho.

I think style boots will be way in this school year. Fancy ones with designs all over them!
I honestly think it will be tennis shoes until winter hits and then some kind of vegan type boots. Although the high heeled boots are in style, they look terribly uncomfortable, so I think the kids will get smart and go ‘green’ while being comfortable! So my guess is vegan, plainish and eco friendly materials.

I will be wearing my flip flops and wedgie sandals for as long as I can. For the fall, I would like some ankle boots, kneehighs are just too hot for me.
I’ve been seeing a lot of heeled ankle boots this summer, so I expect that trend will continue into the fall.

Open toe boots seem to be popping up everywhere. They are going to be huge this fall. I’m not sure if I am ready to get on board.
I think the big trend this fall will be the fuzzy faux fur vests. I love them with the feathers also!
I think all styles of boots will be popular. I hate cold weather but I love my boots!

Me?All I know is that I’m in line for a pair of sneakers that aren’t worn down and scuffed with grass stains.

The trend will likely be something very uncomfortable – isnt’ it always, but I’m gonna say I still like my Knee High Boots!
Colorful Crocs and cute boots will be a must around here. All summer the teens have been buying flip flops and swapping one with a friend so everyone has a pair of unmatched flipflops in their shoe wardrobe!

Boots are always popular, but I think a trend will be more unexpected patterns and/or embellishments.
Boots are popular in Fall, although I have a hard time pulling them off. I’ll need to stay tuned to your site especially since I have a family weddingto go to in October and I’m going to need fabulous shoes!
