Stallone is Back in Action in The Expendables

Sylvester Stallone stars as the leader of a group of mercenaries sent on mission no one else wanted. The team of expendable men head to South America to overthrow a dictator, but find themselves caught up in lies and deceit. Action and adventure follow as Stallone and company bring back the classic ’80s and ’90s popcorn action flick that would make even Michael Bay excited.
Jungle Boots
In order to embark on such a dangerous mission south of the equator, Stallone needed to put on a good pair of jungle boots. In the picture above you can see that Stallone appears to have on a pair of full leather boots – typically not ideal for the jungle.
Jungle boots are known for their rubber soles and canvas or light, breathable upper to protect against the jungle’s #1 tool: moisture. Leather is still present on the major stress points to increase durability.
Even if you’re not heading out to the jungle to overthrow a dictator this fall you can still look the part and have functional footwear that mimics jungle boots.

This boot looks to be similar to the one Sly is wearing in the still shot above. The boot has a dark brown (also comes in black) look to it. The classic combat or military style has been honed over the years to allow for the most versatility as well as durability. These boots are functional, but they also look the part. Add a little edge to your style this season and wear these with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt or even shine them up with a pair of dress casual pants.

This boot is more along the lines of a traditional jungle boot. The sole is all-weather rubber sole and waterproof upper will be sure to keep your feet dry no matter how far off the trail you venture. The cloth on the upper allows for some breathability for those hot, humid climates. The inside is cushioned for all-day comfort for those times you’re out hiking and doing some hard-core recon. With Sly taking over the box office again these boots will even be seen out on the streets this fall and winter season.
