I’ll admit it – the majority of my evening Sunday was dedicated to the 2011 Grammy red carpet and award show. A few key shoe trends definitely stood out to me as I watch the stars parade across my tv. Shimmer and glitter were everywhere, with many celebs jazzing up their footwear with sparkly embellishments. I also noticed a lot of peep toed pumps. And the heels! I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of the shoes I saw had at least 5″ stilettos. The commercial for Volkswagon had the little boy trying to use the dark side to influence machines all over his house until his Dad’s new Volkswagon fired up…

It had all the makings of a great Super Bowl halftime show. Popular Musical Group – Check. Flashy Effects – Check. Multitudes of Backup Dancers – Check. Amazing Guest Performers – Check. Funny how something as insignificant as, I don’t know, microphones can turn a performance from blockbuster to lackluster. Super Bowl life lesson for the Black Eyed Peas in 2011? Always [ . . . ]

I have no plans to give in to ‘Bieber Fever,’ but I do find Justin Bieber intriguing. He sure has a lot of confidence for a 16 year-old. And why wouldn’t he?
