I am all for trend-setters, and for the most part, I let my 4-year-old daughter have a say in what she wears and what she puts on her feet, but I’m not too sure what to think about these!

Willow Pinkett-Smith, daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett was on the red carpet for the 23rd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards wearing them. These were a custom pink version created by Daryl Van Wouw. They were the Converse Extension 1 shoe pants, not available in stores. So, what do you think?

With my daughter being a big Nickolodeon fan, I did catch part of the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, and for the most part, she was excited for the winners!

- Favorite Reality Show: American Idol
- Favorite Female Athlete: Misty May Traynor (Sand Volleyball)

Paul Gardner-Stephen from Australia seems to think so.According to SliceofScifi.com, he and a friend have created a working shoe phone based on the one used in Get Smart. It was created for use in a play, but received so much attention that Gardner-Stephen is thinking about setting up a website and selling them to the general public. (For those of you who are wondering – yes. You do actually have to take your shoe off and put the sole to your ear before using this phone.)

What do you think? Would this be something that people would actually use? Or have cell phones made this product unnecessary?

For the girl who loves shoes, but doesn’t need any additional pairs of her own, I present the perfect gift! Check out these chocolate pumps by Gayle’s Chocolates.These adorable confections come in multiple styles – just like your favorite pair of real shoes. I think it would be a cute gift by itself, or as a yummy ‘accessory’ for a new outfit. The only problem is, are they too gorgeous to actually eat? Not to me!

If anyone out there wants to send me one of these treats as a gift, I would prefer the pink shoe with dark accents! I promise to admire it for a full five minutes before eating.

Now that spring has sprung, people are stocking up on new clothes for the warmer weather.  For me, this includes new sandals and a new swimsuit.  Funny, but somehow I never thought to put the two together until I saw this picture…

I doubt that I would wear this myself, but it is pretty creative.Now if only someone could find a bikini printed with sandals to match!

It looks like Coca-Cola and Manolo Blahnik have found a way to combine two of my biggest weaknesses: soda pop and beautiful shoes!  According to ShoeBlog.com, these limited edition Coke bottles are being produced in conjunction with Fashion Week 2009.   

Good luck getting your hands (and taste buds) on this fun find: Fashion.at breaks the sad news that these Coke bottles won’t be found at your average gas station.  They will only be ‘available at  exclusive fashion events from summer 2009 on.’
