Many of us know all too well that “little black dress” hanging up in our closets that we resort to oh so many times for weddings, parties, girls night out, or any other event you want to be looking your best! This post we are going to discuss the latest trends and what shoes to wear with that dress this season.

This new “what to wear” series will continue season after season covering what to wear to weddings, job interviews, first dates, you name it we will cover it! We are open to suggestions if you have a particular idea in mind. 

These five beautiful ladies featured on today’s post are The Saturdays, a famous pop group formed in London in 2007. These young ladies have a lot going on, and are set to have their 3rd album released later this year! See a recent video from The Saturdays featuring their hit single “Ego” They were chosen for this post since they all had their little black dresses on, and cute style with their own shoe picks. Cheryl Burke from Dancing with the Stars loves wedges just like us! If you are a DWTS fan like me, you were probably sad to see season 10 end. The winners this season were Derek Hough and Nicole Scherzinger, with runners-up being Anna Trebunskaya and Evan Lysacek. Lady Gaga is one of those artists that you either love or hate. From her tunes and edgy fashion to her facial expressions and hair, some people can’t get enough of her while others are wishing the “Lady in Red” would have made more of a presence! Either way, I find her fashion and style intriguing and I thought it was worthwhile to take a look. As you can see below, it seems as though she loves to wear white, black and gold, and I’ve even chosen some ShoeMall styles that could easily slide right into this lady’s closet!

Now to see what we’ve all been waiting for! Lady Gaga herself in three rather stunning fashion sets! The first is a one-shoulder black dress with gold geometrical shapes sticking out from it (this is not the first time!), if only we could see her shoes here, bummer! The second one she has on is a soft gold-colored 1920s style fringe dress with a matching headband… and check out those shoes! WOW! The third outfit is what she just wore to the 2009 MTV Music Awards this past September where she performed paparazzi live – and what a performance that was! From the mardi gras face mask to the big victorian hat, this lady has it going on here! So… what do you think? To love or to hate?

In other news, she ‘has been encouraging people to donate their old worn shoes for the Second Annual Barefoot Week. The actress has already donated 2000 pairs of shoes from her Reebok line to Soles4Souls, an organization that gives away a pair of shoes every 13 seconds to people in need. “If you can’t dig deep in your pockets, then dig in your closet,” said the 24-year-old star.
