Get Hatched: A chick’s guide to life – by Teri Hatcher

Being a fan of Desperate Housewives, I naturally follow Teri Hatcher, and I recently heard about GetHatched.com, and thought it was something worthwhile to talk about.

DisneyFamily.com announced the debut of their new website on Monday. The website is a new online destination that balances having fun, finding inspiration, and gaining understanding from other women. The site is filled with topics about beauty, relationships, style, health, and happiness.

In her opening blog post to site visitors, she discussed the goal of GetHatched.com, stating:

“GetHatched is a place that celebrates women in all of our multi-tasking, chore-juggling, diverse-life role-playing glory. We ARE the force behind everything. We are the caregivers, the nurturers, the lovers, and the teachers. We do the laundry, clean the house, feed the pets, drive the carpool, and as if that wasn’t enough of a job, we often bring home the bacon. (And then cook it, too!)

I’m not sure about you, but it is going to be hard for me to wait until March 8th for the new season of Gossip Girl to begin. Taylor Momsen is seen here on set and looking like her old bad self again. With Jenny Humphrey there is always gossip to be talked about!

Pushing Daisies Outstanding Supporting Actress – 2009 Primetime Emmys

I never really thought of Pushing Daisies as a must see primetime show, but I must say that I did enjoy all the episodes that I did take the time to watch. I always felt it would make a better movie rather than a TV series just because it seemed to fit my movie-type: The romantic comedy and an added bonus… with a fairy tale twist. Recently, I have heard more conversations that there may be a movie in the works sometime soon. Let’s cross our fingers for that to actually happen.

I was so proud of Kristin Chenoweth for winning an Emmy this past Sunday, it was so nice to see her get the recognition she deserves for her performances on the show. I just heard earlier today that she was ill backstage at the Emmys with a severe migraine headache. Ouch! For those of you who have suffered with one of them yourselves or know something who has, this would definitely not be a good, especially on Emmy night in front of millions of people. Who knows, with her Emmy speech, we might see Kristin pop up on Mad Men one of these days.
